Veggie Sausage Gnocchi in Tomato Sauce

LEVEL 1 (BOTTOM OF POT)

  • 1 package (16 ounces) gnocchi
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup marinara sauce, reserved

LEVEL 2 (BOTTOM LAYER OF RACK)

  • 1 large red bell pepper, deseeded, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

LEVEL 3 (TOP LAYER OF RACK)

  • 4 plant-based sausages

TOPPING (optional)

  • Vegan Parmesan cheese

  • Step 1

    Place the gnocchi and water in the pot.

  • Step 2

    Place the bottom layer of the Deluxe Reversible Rack in the lower position and cover with aluminum foil, then place the rack in the pot. Place the bell pepper slices on the foil and season with dried Italian seasoning.

  • Step 3

    Slide the Deluxe Layer through the lower layer’s handles. Place the sausages on the Deluxe Layer.

  • Step 4

    Close the lid and move the slider to STEAMCRISP. Select STEAM & CRISP, set temperature to 425°F, and set time to 3 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (PrE will display for approx. 6 minutes as the unit steams, then the timer will start counting down).

  • Step 5

    When cooking is complete, carefully remove the entire rack. Thinly slice the sausages. Drain the gnocchi and return it to the pot. Add the marinara sauce, peppers, and sausages to the gnocchi and stir to combine.

  • Step 6

    Select SEAR/SAUTE and set to 3. Cook for 5 minutes to warm the sauce. Serve with desired toppings.
