- 20 ounces canned or packaged jackfruit (in water or brine)
- 1 tablespoon garlic, peeled, minced
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
TOPPINGS (optional)
- Hamburger buns
- Thick red onion slices
- Shredded cabbage

Step 1
Add all ingredients to the pot and stir to combine.

Close the lid and move slider to STEAMCRISP. Select STEAM & CRISP, set temperature to 350°F, and set time to 3 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (PrE will display for approx. 8 minutes as the unit steams, then the timer will start counting down).

When cooking is complete, select SEAR/SAUTÉ and set to 4. Bring the jackfruit and sauce to a simmer, about 3 minutes. With a fork, stir and tear the jackfruit apart.
