Step 1
Pour 1 cup water into the CombiCooker Pan for steaming. Place Crisper Tray in the Combi Pan, and place the 8-inch by8-inch pan on top.
Step 2
Pour the melted butter into the 8-inchby8-inch pan and sprinkle brown sugar on top.Place a pineapple ring into each corner of the pan and one into the center. Add one maraschino cherry into the center of each pineapple ring.
Step 3
In a large bowl combine the cake mix with the eggs, oil, water, and reserved pineapple juice. Mix untilbatter is smooth and combined.
Step 4
Pour the batter into the 8-inch by8-inch pan and slide the Combi Cooker Pan in Level 1.
Step 5
Close the door and flip the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER. Select COMBI BAKE, set the temperature to 350°F, and set the time to 15 minutes. Press START/STOP and begin cooking (the unit will steam for 20 minutes).
Step 6
Cooking is complete when cake is golden brown and toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, or with few crumbs. When cooking is complete, carefully removethe 8-inch by 8-inch pan and run a butter knife around the sides.
Step 7
Invert the cake onto a plate or serving tray and allow to sit upside down for 5 minutes before removing the pan. Serve warm.
