Step 1
To install the grill grate, position it into the front of the base so it hooks in, then press down on the back until it clicks into place. Install griddle on top of grill grate so it sits flat. Select BBQ GRIDDLE, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 6 minutes. Close hood and press the dial to begin preheating (preheating will take approximately 10 minutes).
Step 2
Season beaten eggs with salt and pepper. Open hood and lightly spray griddle with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the eggs onto the griddle and cook undisturbed with the hood open.
Step 3
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place the bread butter side up, side by side in the middle of the eggs.
Step 4
Cook the eggs until no liquid remains, about 2 to 3 minutes. Using a spatula, flip both the eggs and the bread in one motion and cook for 1 minute.
Step 5
Place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread. Then fold the top, bottom, and sides of the egg onto the bread. Cook for 1 minute, then close the sandwich and cook for 30 seconds on each side.
