Breakfast Sausage & Egg Bites

Level 1 (Possible Pan)

  • 1 cup water, for steaming
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded Colby jack cheese

Level 2 (Bake Tray)

  • 1 pack (12 oz) fresh breakfast sausages (14 ea.)

Utensils

  • 6-cup aluminum muffin pan
  • Step 1

    Pour water into Combi Cooker Pan and then place Crisper Tray into the pan with water. Place muffin pan on top of the Crisper Tray and spray with cooking spray, set aside.

  • Step 2

    In a large bowl whisk together the remaining Level 1 ingredients and divide the mixture amongst muffin cups. Slide the pan in the bottom level.

  • Step 3

    Place the sausages on the Bake Tray and slide the tray into Level 2

  • Step 4

    Close door and flip the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER. Select COMBI MEALS, set temperature to 375°F and set time to 10 minutes. Press START/STOP and begin cooking (the unit will steam for 6 minutes).

  • Step 5

    When cooking is complete, remove tray and pan. Allow egg muffins to cool for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and serve with sausage and toast if desired.
