Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs

TIP: Have fun and switch up the toppings based on your favorites. Try sautéed onions and peppers, cheese and jalapeños, or relish and barbecue sauce. The options are endless.

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 4 beef hotdogs
  • 4 bacon strips
  • cooking spray
  • 4 bakery hotdog buns, split and toasted
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and drained

  • Step 1

    Place cook and crisp basket in pot. Close Crisping lid. Select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 360F, and set time to 5 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating.   

  • Step 2

    Wrap each hotdog with one strip of bacon, securing it with toothpicks as needed  

  • Step 3

    Once unit has preheated, open lid and coat the basket with cooking spray. Place the hotdogs in the basket in a single layer. Close crisping lid.          

  • Step 4

    Select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 360 F, and set time to 15 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin   

  • Step 5

    After 10 minutes, open the lid and doneness. If needed, continue cooking until it reaches your desired doneness. 

  • Step 6

    When cooking is complete, place the hotdogs in the buns with the onion and sauerkraut. Top, if desired, with condiments of your choice, such as yellow mustard, ketchup, or mayonnaise.
