Cooking mode

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 1 pound baby potatoes, cut in quarters
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Kosher salt, as desired
  • Ground black pepper, as desired
  • 4 slices sandwich bread of choice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened, divided
  • 3 tablespoons spicy brown mustard, divided
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, divided
  • 16 slices deli turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 teaspoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped

  • Step 1

    Install the Accessory Frame in the bottom level of the unit.

  • Step 2

    Turn dial to select SPECIALTY ROAST. Set STAGE 1 temperature to 650°F and set time to 10 minutes. Push the right dial to set STAGE 2, then set temperature to 350°F, and set time to 5 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will take approx. 10 minutes).

  • Step 3

    While oven is preheating, toss potatoes with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place potatoes on one side of the Pre-Heat Pan.

  • Step 4

    Coat outside of each bread slide with butter, and place each slide butter faced down on Pre-Heat Pan.

  • Step 5

    Coat 2 slices of bread with mustard and two slices of bread with mayonnaise, place 4 slices of turkey on each slice of bread, and top turkey with 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Step 6

    When unit is preheated and ADD FOOD and PRS STRT is displayed, open door and place the tray on the rack. Close door, press START/STOP and allow to cook.

  • Step 7

    When cooking is complete remove Bake Tray from oven, transfer potatoes to a medium sized bowl, tossing in remaining mustard and mayonnaise, adding apple cider vinegar and fresh dill.

  • Step 8

    Serve sandwiches open faced style or combine to make two full sandwiches, serve with warm potato salad.
