Taco Chicken Wings

- 1/2 cup water
- 2 pounds frozen chicken wings
- 3 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning, divided
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 to 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Step 1
Add 1/2 cup water to the pot of the Ninja ® Foodi XL Pressure Cooker Steam Fryer with SmartLid.

Place the chicken wings, 2 ½ tablespoons taco seasoning, baking powder, and chili powder in a large resealable plastic bag. Massage the outside to work the spices over all parts of the chicken.

Place the wings in the Cook & Crisp basket and place the basket in the pot.

Close lid and move slider to STEAMCRISP.

Select STEAM & CRISP, set temperature to 450°F, and set time to 20 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (PrE will display for approx. 10 minutes as the unit steams, then the timer will start counting down).

While the wings cook, prepare the sauce. Place a Ninja Foodi Neverstick 10-inch Frying Pan over medium-low heat. Add the butter and melt. Whisk in the remaining taco seasoning until combined, then remove sauce from heat.

When cooking is complete, carefully remove the basket from the pot. Transfer wings to a large bowl and toss with the prepared taco sauce until evenly covered.

Transfer wings to a platter, top as desired, and serve immediately.
