These salted caramel brownies are so decadent and fudgy. The caramel sauce gives these a sweet and salty flavor, and a soft chewy texture. Feel free to add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter to make these even more indulgent.

  • 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt

  • Step 1

When baking is complete, remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt. Allow to cool completely, then top with the remaining caramel sauce.
