Cooking mode

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 1 cup water, for steaming
  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 (6-ounce) package pepperoni 
  • 1 pound log mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 (12.3 ounce) jar Rao’s Homemade Pizza Arrabbiata Sauce
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Step 1

    Open the can of biscuits and separate each biscuit in half to form 16 thin pieces.

  • Step 2

    Cut the pepperoni slices into quarters and place a few bits of pepperoni in the center of each biscuit.

  • Step 3

    Place one cube of mozzarella in the center of each biscuit on top of the pepperoni.

  • Step 4

    Top cheese and pepperoni with a spoonful of Rao’s Homemade Pizza Arrabbiata Sauce.

  • Step 5

    Fold up the edges of the biscuit so the pepperoni and cheese in the center is completely covered. Roll into a ball, sealing the edges so the cheese and sauce do not leak out.

  • Step 6

    Pour 1 cup water into the pot. Pull out the legs on the Crisper Tray, then place the tray in the elevated position in the pot.

  • Step 7

    Place the biscuits in an even layer on the Crisper Tray, leaving space between each for air to flow.

  • Step 8

    In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the butter mixture over the dough balls.

  • Step 9

    Close the lid and flip the SmartSwitch to RAPID COOKER.  Select STEAM & CRISP, set temperature to 350°F, and set time to 5 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin cooking (the unit will steam for approx. 10 minutes before cooking).

  • Step 10

    When cooking is complete, the pizza bombs will be golden brown and cooked through. Carefully remove the pizza bombs and transfer to a plate. Remove the Crisper Tray from the pot.

  • Step 11

    Flip the SmartSwitch™ to AIR FRY. Select SEAR/SAUTE, set the temperature to HI, and press START/STOP to start warming, add the remaining sauce to the pot. Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring as necessary. Transfer to a serving dish.

  • Step 12

    Serve the pizza bombs with the heated pizza sauce for dipping.
