A healthier take on a peanut butter classic!

Tip: Gel food coloring works best here, but if you can’t find it you can use liquid food coloring and increase the amount of drops used. If combining red and blue to make purple, use a two-to-one ratio of red to blue.

MAKE IT DAIRY-FREE Use unsweetened coconut cream for heavy cream and unsweetened oat milk for whole milk.

Cooking mode

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons grape jam
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter powder
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Purple gel food coloring to desired color (about 5–7 drops)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped, for mix-in
  • 1/4 cup frozen mixed berries, for mix-in

  • Step 1

    In a blender pitcher add milk, peas, sugar, grape jam, peanut butter powder, and vanilla extract. Blend on high until mixture is completely smooth, about 60 seconds. Add food coloring, if using, and blend until combined.

  • Step 2

    Pour base into an empty CREAMi™ Add heavy cream and stir until well combined. Place storage lid on pint and freeze for 24 hours.

  • Step 3

    Remove pint from freezer and remove lid from pint.  Place pint in outer bowl, install Creamerizer™ Paddle onto outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

  • Step 4

    Select ICE CREAM.

  • Step 5

    With a spoon, create a 1 ½-inch wide hole that reaches the bottom of the pint. Add chopped roasted peanuts and mixed berries to the hole and process again using the MIX-IN program.

  • Step 6

    When processing is complete, remove ice cream form pint and serve immediately.
