Grilled Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

- 8 ounces uncooked Italian sausage
- 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt, as desired
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground black pepper, as desired
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 12 large white mushrooms, brushed clean, stems removed (about 1 pound)
- 1 tablespoon parsley, for garnish

Step 1
Install the grill grate by sliding into the front of the base so it hooks in. Then press down on the back until it clicks into place. Add the grease catch cover and close the hood. Select GRILL, set temperature to HI, and set timer for 15 minutes. Press the dial to begin preheating (preheating will take approximately 10 minutes).

In a large bowl, add the sausage, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese and stir until evenly combined.

In a medium bowl, add the bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and vegetable oil and stir until evenly combined.

Divide the sausage mixture between the mushrooms caps and press the mixture to tightly pack. Then, press each mushroom, filling side down into the bread crumbs until evenly covered.

When unit beeps to signify it has preheated, open hood and place the mushrooms on grill grate. Close hood to begin cooking.

When cooking is complete, the bread crumbs will be golden brown. Carefully transfer the mushrooms to a plate and garnish with parsley.
