- 2 tablespoons canola oil (or clarified butter)
- 12 ounces cremini mushrooms, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled, minced
- 1 yellow onion, peeled, diced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme (3 sprigs)
- 1/2 cup ale
- 3 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 package (12 ounces) wide egg noodles
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
LEVEL 2 (TOP LAYER OF RACK)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 clove garlic, peeled, minced
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup ale
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup shallots, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
TOPPINGS (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Step 1
To prepare the beef patties, add all Level 2 ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well combined. Form the mixture into 4 equal balls and press down slightly to make 4 thick patties, about 1 1/4–1 1/2 inches thick. Transfer the patties to a plate and place in the refrigerator until ready for use.

Step 2
Close lid and move slider to AIR FRY/STOVETOP. Select SEAR/SAUTÉ and set to HI-5. Open lid and select START/STOP to begin preheating. Allow unit to preheat for 5 minutes.

Add oil and mushrooms and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and onion and cook for 2 more minutes.

Add the flour and stir, making sure there are no large lumps. Press START/STOP to stop cooking. Add the thyme, ale, beef broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and noodles.

Place the bottom layer of the Deluxe Reversible Rack in the higher position, then place in the pot. Spray the rack with nonstick cooking spray and place the beef patties on the rack.

Close the lid and move slider to STEAMCRISP. Select STEAM & CRISP, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 10 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (PrE will display for approx. 15 minutes as the unit steams, then the timer will start counting down).

When cooking is complete, carefully remove the rack. Add the sour cream to the noodles and stir until fully combined. Serve noodles with beef patties and parsley.
