Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ large white onion, diced
  • 1 jar (24-ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 container (15 ounces) ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Kosher salt, as desired
  • Ground black pepper, as desired
  • 8 each dry oven ready lasagna noodles (from one 9-ounce box)
  • 1 cup water, for steaming

  • Step 1

    Add the Combi Cooker Pan into the Level 1. With the door open, flip the SmartSwitch to AIRFRY/STOVETOP. Select SEAR/SAUTE and set temperature to 4. Press START/STOP and let pan preheat in unit for 3 minutes.

  • Step 2

    After 3 minutes, add the olive oil, ground beef and onion to the Pot. Sauté, with door open, for 5-8 minutes or until the beef is browned, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 3

    Press START/STOP to turn off unit. Remove the Combi Cooker Pan from the unit and place on a heat proof surface. Add the jarred sauce to the meat and stir to combine. Set aside.

  • Step 4

    In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta, 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, oregano, salt and pepper.

  • Step 5

    Spread 1/2 cup sauce on the bottom of the Ninja baking pan, then place 2 lasagna noodles, 1/2 cup sauce and 1 cup of the ricotta mixture. Repeat this process three additional times. Top the finished lasagna with the remaining sauce, shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

    Wipe the Combi Cooker Pan clean and add 1 cup of water into the pan, place the crisper tray on top of the water and add prepared lasagna on top of the crisper tray.

  • Step 7

    Flip the Smart Switch to COMBI COOKER, select STEAM + CRISP, set temperature to 350°F and set time to 15 minutes, press START/STOP to begin cooking. (Unit will steam for 5 minutes)

  • Step 8

    When cooking is complete, remove the pan and allow lasagna to rest and cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
