Cooking mode

  • 1 ½ pounds (3-4 each) boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce, divided
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 pre-baked flatbread crusts
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup thinly sliced red onion, divided

  • Step 1

    Place the chicken breast into a large bowl. Add paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper and oil. Toss well to fully coat the chicken with the oil and spices. Add ½ cup BBQ sauce to the bowl and coat the chicken well. Let the chicken marinate for 20 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add water to the Combi Cooker Pan then place the Crisper Tray into the pan. Place the marinated chicken breasts onto the tray in a single layer. Slide the pan into Level 1.

  • Step 3

    Close door and flip the SmartSwitch to RAPID COOKER Select COMBI ROAST. Set temperature to 350°F and set time to 15 mins. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (unit will steam for 5 minutes).

  • Step 4

    When cooking is complete, remove the pan for the unit and remove the chicken. Place chicken on a cutting board and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Thinly slice the chicken and set aside.

  • Step 5

    Using a pizza cutter, cut each flatbread into 10-inch pieces and arrange in bake tray. (There may be smaller remaining pieces that can be reserved and cooked later).

  • Step 6

    Working with one piece of flatbread at a time, spread 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce on top, then layer with 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, ½ cup of sliced red onion, and 1 cup of sliced chicken. Drizzle 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce and another ¼ cup mozzarella cheese over the chicken. Repeat with remaining flatbread.

  • Step 7

    Close door and flip SmartSwitch to STOVETOP/AIR FRY. Select PIZZA, set temperature to 415°F and set time to 10 minutes. Press START/STOP (unit will preheat for 3 minutes and display PRE. Unit will beep when preheating is complete).

  • Step 8

    When the unit is preheated open door and slide Bake Tray into LEVEL 1. Close the door to begin cooking.

  • Step 9

    Cooking is complete when crust is golden brown and bubbling. When cooking is complete, remove pan from unit and let flatbread cool in pan for 5 minutes before cutting and serving. Repeat step 7 with remaining BBQ chicken flatbreads.
