TIP: Ifmascarpone is not available, you can use cream cheese as a substitute.

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 2 tablespoons brewed coffee, chilled 
  • 8 oz unsweetened mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, plus more for serving 
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

  • Step 1

     Place the heavy whipping cream into the blender pitcher.

  • Step 2

    Select BLEND then HIGH and run for 15 to 30 seconds, until the cream thickens.

  • Step 3

    Remove the whipped cream from the blender, transfer to a large mixing bowl,  and place in the refrigerator.

  • Step 4

    Place the sugar, mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, coffee, and cocoa powder into the blender pitcher in the order listed. 

  • Step 5

    Select BLEND then HIGH and run for 15 to 30 seconds, until smooth. 

  • Step 6

    Add the coffee mixture to the bowl of chilled whipped cream, and fold together. 

  • Step 7

    Spoon a small amount of the mousse into the bottom of 4 serving glasses.
    Top with a dusting of cocoa powder and repeat.
