Halloumi cheese is growing in popularity in the vegetarian keto community. It’s ability to withstand direct heat without additional ingredients to “bread” the cheese keeps it low carb. Note that when you reduce the heat setting and close the hood of the Foodi™ Grill, the unit will signal that it is already preheated. Hold off on doing so and make the sauce first. This will allow the Foodi™ Grill to cool down to the correct temperature to perfectly cook the cheese.
