Grilled Portobello Pizza Cups

- 12 portobello mushrooms, cleaned
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup prepared pesto
- 2-2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings (optional)
- Diced or thinly sliced peppers, onions, mushrooms, and/or olives
- Cooked and diced sausage, ham, and/or bacon
- Pepperoni
- Diced pineapple

Step 1
To install the grill grate, position it flat on top of the heating element so it sits in place, then close the hood.

Select GRILL, set temperature to HI, and set time to 20 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will take approx. 10–13 minutes).

Fill each mushroom cap with approximately 2–3 tablespoons marinara sauce or pesto. Then top with mozzarella and desired toppings. Be sure to not overfill.

When unit beeps to signify it has preheated and ADD FOOD is displayed, open hood and, depending on the size, place 6 to 8 mushrooms on the grill grate. Close the hood to begin cooking.

Step 5
When 10 minutes remain, open the hood and check to make sure the cheese is melted. Remove cooked pizza cups from grill and repeat step 4 with any remaining mushrooms.

When cooking is complete, serve pizza cups hot.
