Cooking mode

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 5 uncooked smoked bacon strips 
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise   
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce  
  • 2 cups uncooked tater tots (approx. 20 tater tots)
  • 6 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • Kosher salt, as desired 
  • Ground black pepper, as desired 
  • 4 slices American cheese 
  • 4 8-inch flour tortillas

  • Step 1

    To install the grill grate, slide it into the front of the base so it hooks in, then press down on the back until it clicks into place. Place griddle on top of grill grate so it sits flat. Close the hood. Select BBQ GRIDDLE, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 30 minutes. Press the dial to begin preheating (preheating will take approximately 10 minutes). 

  • Step 2

    When unit beeps to signal it has preheated, open hood, place  bacon on griddle, and cook, flipping frequently, for about 10 minutes, or until desired doneness.

    While the bacon is cooking, combine the mayonnaise and hot sauce in a small bowl and set aside.   

  • Step 4

    When the bacon is done cooking, remove from griddle and place on a paper towellined plate to remove excess grease, then chop into bite-sized pieces and set aside.  

  • Step 5

    Place tater tots on griddle, pressing down to flatten slightly. Cook, flipping frequently, until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.   

  • Step 6

    Add the beaten eggs to the griddle plate, season with salt and pepper, then top with cheese. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes undisturbed.  

  • Step 7

    When the eggs are done cooking, cut into 4 equal portions and transfer to a plate. 

  • Step 8

    Place 1 tortilla on the griddle plate and cook until pliable, about 10 seconds each side. Then transfer to a clean work surface.  

  • Step 9

    Add 1/2 cup tater tots and half the chopped bacon to the center of the tortilla. Drizzle with spicy mayonnaise and top with eggs, cheese side down. Roll the burrito by folding the sides 1/3 of the way in and tucking the ingredients as you roll.   

  • Step 10

    Repeat steps 8 and 9 with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.

    Place the burritos on the griddle plate, seam side down, and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3 minutes.   

  • Step 12

    Serve with any extra spicy mayonnaise.
