Utensils

  • Step 1

To install the grill grate, slide it into the front of the base so it hooks in, then press down on the back until it clicks into place. Select GRILL, set temperature to HI, and set time to 12 minutes. Close the hood and press the dial to begin preheating (preheating will take approximately 5 minutes).

  • Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the beef, shredded cheese, uncooked bacon, salt, and barbeque seasoning. Separate mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape the beef into patties, about 4 1/2–5 ounces each. Place a cube of cheese and a tablespoon of cooked bacon in the middle of the patty and gently form the beef around it. Shape back into a patty.

  • Step 3

When unit beeps to signal it has preheated, open hood and add the patties to the grill. Close the hood and grill for 6 minutes. Open hood, flip burgers and grill with hood open for 5 minutes. If desired, top with sliced cheese. Close hood to melt for 1 minute.

  • Step 4

When cooking is complete, open hood and remove burgers from grill. Place burgers on buns and serve with desired toppings.
