  • 1 pound 90/10 ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 brioche or rustic buns

TOPPINGS

  • Mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces blue cheese crumbles
  • 1 vine ripe tomato, sliced thin
  • Lettuce

Utensils

  • Medium Bowl
  • Step 1

Install the Accessory Frame in the bottom level of the unit, line the Pro-Heat pan with aluminum foil, then place the Pro-Heat Pan on top.

  • Step 2

Turn the dial to select MAX ROAST, set the temperature to 700°F and set the time to 10 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will take approx. 25 minutes).

  • Step 3

In a medium bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide beef into four 4-ounce patties, about 1 1/2-inch in thickness. Set aside.

  • Step 4

When the unit is preheated and ADD FOOD and PRS STRT is displayed, open the door and place the bacon slices on one side of the pan and the burgers on the other. Close the door, select START/STOP to begin cooking, and cook for 10 minutes. Halfway through cooking, when the unit displays FLIP, remove bacon and transfer to a paper towel line plate. Flip the burgers over.

  • Step 5

When cooking is complete and burgers are cooked to desired doneness, open the door and remove the pan.

  • Step 6

Assemble the burgers by dressing the buns with mayonnaise, and topping burgers with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and blue cheese crumbles. Serve immediately.
