Alabama White Sauce
This white sauce is quite different from your classic tomato based barbecue sauce. This is creamy, slightly sweet, tangy in flavor and a touch spicy.
TIP: Yields approximately 2 cups. Store for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown mustard
- 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- kosher salt, as desired
- ground black pepper, as desired
