Cooking mode

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 2 bananas, unpeeled
  • 1-2 tablespoons hazelnut spread
  • 1 teaspoon chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds
  • 1-2 tablespoons caramel topping
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans
  • Pinch of kosher salt

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Install a crisper plate in both baskets. 

  • Step 2

    Carefully slice both bananas lengthwise with the peel on. Be sure to not cut all the way through. Then slightly open the bananas.  

  • Step 3

    To one banana, add the hazelnut spread, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and slivered almonds. Then place the stuffed banana in the Zone 1 basket. 

  • Step 4

    To the remaining banana, add the caramel topping, cinnamon, chopped pecans, and a pinch of salt.  Then place the stuffed banana in the Zone 2 basket.  

  • Step 5

    Select Zone 1, Select AIR FRY, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 6 minutes. Select MATCH COOK to match Zone 2 settings to Zone 1. Press START/PAUSE button to begin cooking. 

  • Step 6

    When cooking is complete, enjoy banana splits directly from the peel.
