Smoked Brussels Sprouts

These smoked Brussels sprouts are a delicious and easy side dish to serve up with your favorite grilled proteins like steak, chicken or salmon. These would be a great addition to your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner table.

  • 2 pounds (32 ounces) Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning

  • Step 1

    To install the grill grate, position it flat on top of the heating element and gently press down until it clicks into place. Place the Crisper basket on top of the grill grate, then close the hood.

  • Step 2

    While holding the smoke box lid open, use the pellet scoop to pour pellets into the smoke box until filled to the top. Then close the smoke box lid.

  • Step 3

    Turn dial to AIR CRISP. Press WOODFIRE FLAVOR, set temperature to 375°F, and set time to 22 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will be approx. 8-10 minutes).

  • Step 4

    In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with mustard and BBQ seasoning.

  • Step 5

    When the unit indicates it has preheated and ADD FOOD is displayed, open the hood and add the Brussels sprouts to the basket. Close the hood to being cooking.

  • Step 6

    When 11 minutes remain, open the hood and toss the Brussels sprouts for 10 seconds. Close hood and continue cooking.

  • Step 7

    When cooking is complete, remove Brussels sprouts from basket and serve.
