Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts

- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed, halved
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded, cut in 1-inch pieces
- Kosher salt, as desired
- Ground black pepper, as desired
- 1 tablespoon canola oil 1/2 cup roasted peanuts,
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts, plus more chopped for garnish
- 3 scallions, trimmed, chopped
- 1/2 cup prepared Kung Pao sauce
- Sesame seeds for garnish

Step 1
In a large bowl, combine Brussels sprouts, bell pepper, salt, pepper, and oil. Toss well.

Install SearPlate in the bottom level of the unit, then close door. Select SEAR CRISP, set temperature to 450°F, and set time to 10 minutes. Press the setting dial to begin preheating.

When unit has preheated, open door and use oven mitts to remove SearPlate and place it on top of oven. Add Brussels sprouts
and pepper mix to SearPlate, then reinstall SearPlate in bottom level of the unit. Close door to begin cooking. -
Step 4
When cooking is complete, carefully remove SearPlate from the oven with oven mitts. Transfer Brussels sprouts and pepper mix to a bowl. Toss with peanuts, scallions, and Kung Pao sauce until evenly mixed.

Garnish Brussels sprouts and pepper mix with chopped peanuts and sesame seeds, then serve immediately.
