Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
- 1 large egg, beaten
- premade strawberry frosting, as desired
- rainbow sprinkles, as desired

- Parchment Paper

Step 1
Place a piece of parchment paper on a sheet pan. Trim the puff pastry sheets into similar sized rectangles.

Spread preserves onto 1 piece of puff pastry, leaving 1/2-inch to 1-inch rim free of preserves.

Brush the beaten egg on the rim of the pastry, then top with the second piece of puff pastry and press to seal the edges with a fork. Pierce the top of the pastry several times with the fork. Place the sheet pan with the pastry in the freezer to chill for 10 minutes.

To install the grill grate, slide it into the front of the base so it hooks in, then press down on the back until it clicks into place. Install griddle on top of grill grate so it sits flat. Select BBQ GRIDDLE, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 15 minutes. Close the hood and press the dial to begin preheating (preheating will take approximately 10 minutes).

When unit beeps to signal it has preheated, open hood and place pastry on the griddle, discarding the parchment paper. Close hood to begin cooking.

After 10 minutes, begin to check for desired browning.

When cooking is complete, open hood and remove the pastry from the griddle. Set aside to cool, then frost and decorate as desired with sprinkles.
