- 8 teaspoons dark brown sugar, divided
- 4 ripe bananas, peeled, halved lengthwise
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 8 scoops ice cream of choice

- Chocolate sauce
- Whipped cream
- Chopped nuts
- Sprinkles
- Maraschino cherries

Step 1
To install the grill grate, position in into the front of the base so it hooks in, then press down on the back until it clicks into place. Install griddle on top of grill grate so it sits flat. Select BBQ GRIDDLE, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 5 minutes. Close hood and press the dial to begin preheating (preheating will take approximately 10 minutes).

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon brown sugar on the cut side of each banana half and rub to evenly coat.

When unit beeps to signify it has preheated, open the hood, add the butter to the griddle, and spread evenly to coat. Place bananas on griddle, cut side down. Leave hood open while cooking.

When cooking is complete, use a rubber spatula to remove bananas from griddle.

Place 2 scoops of ice cream in each one of 4 serving bowls. Place 2 slices of banana in each bowl and top as desired.
