Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup Mini Marshmallows
  • 2 pinches sea salt


  • Medium Saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Baking Sheet
  • Step 1

    Place the whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, and egg yolks and half of the salt into a medium saucepan.

  • Step 2

    Whisk to combine, on medium heat bring up to a temperature of 165F for 15 seconds. Remove from the heat and set aside.

  • Step 3

    Meanwhile, spread all the marshmallows on a lined or greased baking sheet. Turn on the broiler for the oven and place the pan in for about 5 minutes. Toss the marshmallows halfway through to distribute the color.

  • Step 4

    Mix half of the marshmallows in the base mix. Whisk well to incorporate and pour into an empty CREAMi™ pint. Place the pint in an ice bath.

  • Step 5

    Set the extra toasted marshmallows on a plate and into the freezer.

  • Step 6

    Once cool, cover the CREAMI pint and freeze for 24 hours.

  • Step 7

    Remove pint from freezer and remove lid from pint. Place pint in outer bowl, install CreamerizerPaddle onto outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place

  • Step 8

    Select GELATO.

  • Step 9

    With a spoon, create a 1.5” wide hole that reaches the bottom of the pint. Add the frozen toasted marshmallows to the hole and process again using the MIX-IN program.

  • Step 10

    Once processing is complete, remove gelato from pint and serve immediately. Garnish with extra marshmallows and a pinch of sea salt.
