Smoked Shrimp Boil

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep

  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 3 ears corn, cut in half for 6 pieces
  • 1 pound large shrimp, raw, peeled, & deveined
  • 1 stick salted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 1 small red pepper, cored, sliced thin

  • Step 1

    Install the Accessory Frame in the bottom level of the unit. While holding the smoke box open, use the pellet scoop to pour pellets into the smoke box until filled to the top. Then close the smoke box.

  • Step 2

    Turn dial to select SPECIALTY ROAST. Press WOODFIRE FLAVOR. Set STAGE 1 temperature to 600°F and set time to 10 minutes. Push the right dial to set STAGE 2, then set temperature to 350°F, and set time to 10 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will take approx. 20 minutes).

  • Step 3

    While oven is preheating, bring a large pot of water to a boil and par cook potatoes for 10 minutes, adding corn in for the last 5 minutes. 

  • Step 4

    Remove potatoes and corn and place in a large bowl. Add the shrimp, melted butter, garlic, parsley, seasoning and red pepper to the bowl and toss to combine.

  • Step 5

    Pour contents of bowl onto the Pro-Heat Pan evenly spacing out food.

  • Step 6

    When unit is preheated and ADD FOOD, PSR START is displayed, open door and place the tray on the rack. Close door, press START/STOP and allow to cook.

  • Step 7

    When cooking is complete remove pan from oven and serve food hot.
