Open-Faced Apple Pie

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep
- 1 pre-made pie crust, room temperature
- 4 ounces pumpkin cream cheese
- 2 large honey crisp apples, cored, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- Maple butter, optional, for topping
- Vanilla ice cream, optional, for topping

Step 1
Install SearPlate in the bottom level of the unit and close the door. Select RAPID BAKE, set temperature to 350°F, and set time to 25 minutes.

Step 2
Unroll the pre-made pie crust onto a clean work surface and generously cover with pumpkin cream cheese, leaving a 2-inch crust.

Top the pie with thinly sliced apples, layering and stacking as needed until all are used. Sprinkle the apples with brown sugar, then top with cubed butter.

Fold the edges of the pie crust inward, leaving the center open.

When unit has preheated, open the door and use oven mitts to remove SearPlate and place it on top of the oven. Transfer the pie to the SearPlate, then reinstall the SearPlate to the bottom level of the unit. Close the door to begin cooking.

When cooking is complete, carefully remove SearPlate from oven with oven mitts. Cut the pie into 6 equal slices and top with maple butter and ice cream, as desired.
