Cook up the juiciest grilled chicken breasts on your Ninja Grill with a simple salad dressing marinade and chicken rub. You can substitute the balsamic vinaigrette with any vinegar-based salad dressing or marinade. Recipe by Christie Vanover, Pitmaster at GirlsCanGrill.com.

TIP: When measuring the internal temperature of the chicken, place your instant read thermometer in through the side of the breast into the thickest part.

NOTE: The grill time is set to more time than is needed, so the grill doesn’t turn off, just in case the cook time takes a minute or so longer than expected.

  • 4 chicken breasts (6-8 ounces each)
  • 1 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing
  • 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning

  • Large Resealable Plastic Bag
  • Silicone-Tipped Tongs
  • Instant-Read Thermometer
  • Step 1

Place the chicken breasts and balsamic vinaigrette dressing in a large resealable plastic bag. Massage the outside of the bag to work the marinade over all parts of the chicken, then place the bag in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 4 hours to marinate.

  • Step 2

To install the grill grate, position it flat on top of the heating element and gently press down until it sits into place.

  • Step 3

Turn dial to GRILL. Set temperature to MED and set time to 30 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating (preheating will take approx. 13-17 minutes).

  • Step 4

Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel, then evenly cover all sides with poultry seasoning.

  • Step 5

When the unit beeps to signify it is preheated and ADD FOOD is displayed, open the hood and  place the chicken breasts on the grill grate, gently pressing them down to maximize grill marks. Close hood to begin cooking.

  • Step 6

When unit beeps and the display read FLIP, open hood, and use silicone-tipped tongs to flip the chicken. Close hood to continue cooking.

  • Step 7

Cooking is complete when and instantread thermometer reads 165F.  Remove the chicken breasts from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve as desired.
