Crispy Chickpeas Three Ways

Step-by-step instruction without your screen going to sleep
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) chickpeas, rinsed, drained
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for seasoning
Za'atar Seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Za’atar seasoning
Moroccan Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard powder
Cinnamon Sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Step 1
Thoroughly dry the chickpeas, then place them with 1 tablespoon oil and salt in a large bowl; toss to coat.

Select SEAR/SAUTÉ and set to HIGH. Select START/STOP to begin. Allow to preheat for 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes, add chickpeas to the pot. Sauté until they begin turning golden in spots, about 5 minutes.

Toss chickpeas with remaining oil and desired seasonings, then transfer to the Cook & Crisp™ Basket. Place basket in pot.

Close the crisping lid. Select AIR CRISP, set temperature to 400°F, and set time to 15 minutes, stirring halfway through.

When cooking is complete, carefully transfer chickpeas to a serving bowl. Serve immediately.
