  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk 
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs 
  • 6 chicken pieces, drumsticks, breasts, and thighs, patted dry
  • Cooking oil spray

  • Step 1

     In a shallow bowl, stir together the flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Step 2

    In another bowl, beat the buttermilk and eggs until smooth. 

  • Step 3

     In a third bowl, stir together the olive oil and bread crumbs until mixed. 

  • Step 4

    Dredge the chicken in the flour, dip in the eggs to coat, and finally press into the bread crumbs, patting the crumbs firmly onto the chicken skin.

  • Step 5

    Insert the crisper plate into the basket and the basket into the unit. Preheat the unit by selecting AIR FRY, setting the temperature to 375°F, and setting the time to 3 minutes.  Select START/STOP to begin.

  • Step 6

    Once the unit is preheated, spray the crisper plate with cooking  oil. Place the chicken into the basket.

  • Step 7

    Select AIR FRY, set the temperature to 375°F, and set the time to 25 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.
